Review: Ultraman Geed DX Ultra Capsule Magnificent Set

Here we go again, as we look at the next item I purchased in the Ultraman Geed toyline. This review is on the DX Ultra Capsule Magnificent Set! Now, the Magnificent Set is the second in the series. It contains two Ultra Capsules, and two Kaiju Capsules (actual kaiju may vary). However, similar to the Acro Smasher set this one has both a Belial Fusion Beast, and a Geed Ultra Rise. The Belial Fusion Beast is Pedanium Zetton, which uses Zetton (Ultraman) and King Joe (Ultraseven). Whereas, Ultraman Geed Magnificent…

Ultraman Geed Episode 13 – Restore Memories Review

We are still at the midway point for Ultraman Geed, but we are now on the clip-show episode! In recent years, series either focus on single episode to compile the first half, rather than being a last minute catch-up. However, if one saw Ultraman X, he or she was met with three to four clip-shows, after every seven episodes. Never the less, they were not the great… Yet, this one here may have ended the curse of the terrible clip-shows!   Summary: REM explains the Crisis Impact, as Riku and…

Ultraman Geed Episode 12 – My Name Review

We have finally reached the midway point for Ultraman Geed! That means the series is almost over, and even then, we still are not sure what it is all leading to. However, with Episode 12, it tries to clear up the mystery of what the series’ endgame might be. In addition, the episode makes our bland protagonist a badass, finally! Furthermore, Minori Terada (Ryubee Sonozaki from Kamen Rider W) makes an awesome guest appearance in this episode…   Summary: A flashback of Riku being left at the observatory occurs, as…

Ultraman Geed Episode 10 – I Read Minds Review

Following last week’s in-depth look at Laiha’s tragic history this episode of Ultraman Geed attempts to be highly comedic and filled with romance! Somehow Moa gets stuck being a bodyguard for an alien mediator bent on finding a boyfriend. In addition, this alien also hopes to fix Moa’s situation with Riku. Things cannot get worse from here, or can they?! … Also, a kaiju that has not been seen in almost 40 years decides to reappear!   Summary: The kaiju Zandrias appears on Earth, and AIB brings in an alien…

Ultraman Geed Episode 7 – Sacrifice Review

Ultraman Geed is nearly a third way done with its series, and it has been an odd rollercoaster ride thus far. The series has started off in a weird way, and it is not entirely the best, nor the worst especially following Ultraman Orb. However, I am still hopeful it will be great since today might mark Ultraman Zero’s first full-length battle in the series. Then again it could be just another darn tease like the Thunder Killer fight…   Summary: Kei Fukuide plays chess with himself, as he plots…

Ultraman Geed Episode 6 – So That I Can Be Me Review

Last week’s episode of Ultraman Geed was questionable! Several fans were either fine with episode 5, or plain out just hated it. However, episode 6 looks promising with the appearance of Ultraman Zero. In addition, Ultraman Zero may finally be taking on his role of being Riku/ Ultraman Geed’s mentor. I know that is what I hope will be the case…   Summary: The battle between Ultraman Geed and Thunder Killer rages on, and the Belial Fusion Beast has the upper hand. Reito and Zero from home, before Zero realizes…

Ultraman Geed Episode 4 – A Job Where You Investigate Aliens Review

Ultraman Geed is still moving along fine, and in last week’s episode Ultraman Zero arrived. In addition, we received confirmation that Ultraman King saved the Universe from the Crisis Impact; even if that meant sacrificing his own life to do so. However, in today’s brand-new episode, we finally get to properly meet Riku’s friend Moa, an agent of AIB, and her partner, Agent Zena. With their introduction, the audience will finally get to know what the AIB Organization, even though early hints depict them as the Men in Black.  …

Ultraman Geed Episode 2 – The Girl Who Cuts Monsters Review

Over a week ago, Ultraman Geed premiered in Japan, as well as in North America via Crunchyroll! However, to several fans surprise the first episode was simply a decent start. It was not awful nor was it amazing; it was just an okay beginning that at the very least set-up the foundation for the plot.   Summary: The episode opens on the store manager trying to light a fire at a shelter. His niece acts quickly to light the fire through pyrokinesis, which forces the family to flee the shelter.…
