SDCC 2018: Vol.1 Retro Rock Garage Transformers Box Set Announced

iO9 has revealed the first look at one of Hasbro’s Transformers exclusives they will be offering at San Diego Comic Con 2018.  One of the Transformers exclusives will be the Vol.1 Retro Rock Garage box set that will include a “retro gold” colored 1977 Camaro version of Bumblebee as well as a set of Transformers G1 Dinocassettes named Dial and Zaur. For those who aren’t familiar with the two Dinocassetes, both were released exclusively in Japan in 1987 under the names Dairu and Zauru; although the originals featured different paint schemes.  Since they were released only in Japan, this set will be a great opportunity for long time fans…

The official Star Wars website has updated with the announcement that there will be a special 10th anniversary panel for Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The panel will be presented by Dave Filoni and other unrevealed guests on Thursday, July 19, at 11:45 A.M. – 12:45 P.M in room 6BCF. The Hollywood Reporter has revealed a first look at some of Mattel’s exclusives based on the DC Comics brand, which will be released at San Diego Comic Con 2018. First, Mattel will be releasing a special Hot Wheels set based on Superman Action Comics No. 1, which was released in 1938. As a homage to the cover, the set will feature a mini Superman figure holding up the iconic green sedan.
