The studio and staff explain that while the film is the fourth in the franchise, it is set as the third film in chronological order. This week Premium Bandai updated its website with several new products releasing in September 2018; among these items is S.H.Figuarts Antlar from episode 7 of the original Ultraman series. Antlar is a desert based kaiju that terrorized a thriving ancient civilization called the City of Baraji. When SSSP appeared and encountered Antlar the residents welcomed them, and even assisted SSSP in defeating the monster.
