Los Ingobernables de Tokusatsu Ep 12 – Bugster Night

Welcome to a brand new episode of “Los Ingobernables de Tokusatsu!” Today’s episode entitled “Bugster Night”, is named off an Ex-Aid Event held in Japan. In addition, the episodes are recorded normally at night, as well as our discussion this week is about video games. The reason we chose video games was because of our friend’s the Geek Fighters who are currently discussing the upcoming E3. However, we then decided to focus solely on tokusatsu games, like which we played or what we would like to see for a toku…

Official Images: S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla (2016) Fourth Awakening Ver.

Similar to the update for S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Sigma, Premium Bandai has also listed the order page for the newest announced S.H.MonsterArts. This new S.H.MonstersArts is the “spit-fire” edition of Shin Godzilla, but is properly called the Fourth Awakening Version. Now, for those who have either seen the film or read the spoilers Godzilla effectively spouts highly concentrated thermonuclear beams not just from its mouth, but its tail and plates. However, the official S.H.Monsterarts can only perform the blast from the mouth and tail, as well as include Tamashii Stages. Orders will…

Review: S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla 2016 (Shin Godzilla)

The Monster of MonsterArts has finally arrived, SHMA Godzilla (2016)! Now, as seen in Hideaki Anno’s Shin Godzilla this incarnation is undoubtably the most gruesome looking one ever seen, as well as the largest to date. Along with being the biggest and the ugliest, it is also seemingly the strongest with a beam spamming body; too bad that version will most likely be a Web Shop Exclusive. The figure effectively captures the True King to its fullest form, with a few minor exceptions either due to selective paint applications and…

Holiday Buyers Guide 2016 – Day V: Tokusatsu Toys

Tokusatsu products are pretty much the bread-and-butter here at Hero Club, so it was the perfect category to cap off the Holidays Buyer Guide 2016! Starting off the list is one of the originators of the genre, Ultraman, which is celebrating its 50th Anniversary. Following the Ultraman Products, we will transition to Toei brands such as Kamen Rider, Super Sentai and technically Power Rangers since it’s the American adaptation of Sentai. Then closing out this listing is the King of the Monsters, Godzilla, which will obviously focus on the most…

Review: Shin Godzilla – Movie Monster Series: Godzilla 2016 & Early Forms

Kicking it a bit old school for this review, as I hangout out my father’s house before the pending release of Shin Godzilla via FUNImation here in North America. What I have here today are the Movie Monster Series vinyls for said film, which I purchased from Amiami during Late August and Early September, but the two early forms Godzilla obviously arrived at a later time as seen in the previous V-Log. Anyways I give people who were either already spoiled or willing to be spoiled a small glimpse of…
