TGS 2017: Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer Expansion Release Date Announced

The official Final Fantasy XV Youtube channel has updated with a trailer for the upcoming Multiplayer expansion for the game.  The expansion will allow players to create their own avatar with customization options will be able to play with other players online.  Players will be able to co-operate with up to three other players to complete quests and go into battles.  The events of the DLC will take place after Chapter 13 of the main game so players will need to finish the game before hand in order to avoid potential spoilers. TGS 2017: Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Trailer Streamed

Square Enix NA has updated their official Youtube channel has updated with the Tokyo Game Show 2017 trailer for Dissidia Final Fantasy NT.  The latest trailer features a preview of several of the different playable characters in the game and reveals that Noctis Lucis Caelum from Final Fantasy XV will be joining the cast of the game. Final Fantasy IX PS4 Launch Trailer Streamed

IGN has updated their official Youtube channel with the launch trailer for Final Fantasy IX for the Playstation 4.  For those who are unaware Final Fantasy IX was released on the original Playstation on November 13, 2000 in North America. The Playstation 4 version of the game will support trophies and will feature game boosters along with autosaves.  Similar to some older Final Fantasy ports the game will also feature update visuals.  The game is currently listed on PSN priced at $16.79.  The discount will last until September 26. Nintendo has updated their official Youtube channel with a trailer for Project Octopath Traveler.  The latest trailer for the game was featured in today’s Nintendo Direct and features some of the mechanics as well as a peak into the game’s story.  The game is the latest RPG game from the team behind Bravely Default and is set in a 2D/3D setting and features eight distinct characters with unique stories.  Each character will be able to interact with other characters in the game, which will affect the outcome of the game. Project Octopath is set to launch exclusively for the Nintendo Switch worldwide…

Square Enix Japan has updated their official Youtube channel with a new character trailer for Dissidia Final Fantasy.  The latest character that will be joining the roster is Ultimecia.  For those who are unaware Ultimecia was the main villain from Final Fantasy VIII that was released for the original Playstation in 1999.
