Square Enix recently released a trailer for Star Ocean: First Departure R. For those who are not aware, the game is an enhanced port of Star Ocean: First Departure, which in itself was a remake of the first Star Ocean. The first Star Ocean game launched exclusively in Japan for the Super Famicom in 1996. Due to Enix’s North American branch closing, the game was not released outside of Japan.
