Ming-Na Wen’s Character in The Mandalorian Revealed

Vanity Fair recently revealed a first look at Ming-Na Wen’s character in The Mandalorian. She will be portraying Fennec Shard, who is an assassin that crosses paths with The Mandalorian. According to Vanity Fair the character will be making her debut appearance midway into the first season. Vanity Fair also released a new trailer featuring a sneak peak of Fennec Shard. Ming-Na also revealed some of her thoughts in her involvement on the project. “We got our inspiration really from the name. Deadline has recently reported that David Benioff and D.B. Weiss will no longer be working on the production of a new Star Wars film trilogy due to scheduling complications. Deborah Chow to Direct Disney+ “Obi-Wan Kenobi” Series

The official Star Wars website has updated with an announcement that Deborah Chow will be directing the upcoming Disney+ exclusive series based on Obi Wan Kenobi. Hossein Amini will be working as the writer on the project. Chow will serve double duty as an executive producer with the help of Amini, Ewan McGregor, Kathleen Kennedy, Tracey Seaward, and John Swartz. Lucasfilm’s Executive Vice President of Production, Jason McGatlin, will work as the co-producer. D23 2019: Disney+ Star Wars Series Details Revealed

The official Star Wars website has updated with details about the upcoming productions that will be released on Disney+. Outside of the previously revealed trailer for The Mandalorian Lucasfilm revealed several new details about some of what there is to expect for the platform. First, Lucasfilm revealed that Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be making its’ return in February 2020 on Disney+.
