Len Wiseman to Direct DC Universe “Swamp Thing” Pilot

Deadline has reported that Len Wiseman will be working double shifts as the executive producer and director for the first episode of the live-action Swamp Thing series.  For those who have not been keeping up to date, the series is going to be a part of the live-action series line-up on the upcoming DC Universe streaming service. Other confirmed shows in the service’s live-action line-up include DC’S Titans, Doom Patrol, Harley Quinn, and Stargirl. The series will feature characters from the Swamp Thing comics created by Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson. After the initial announcement last year, details have been scarce for the upcoming DC Entertainment streaming service. Today DC finally revealed the first details about the service. R.L. Stine to Write Marvel's Man-Thing Comics

It has recently been announced that acclaimed children’s horror book series writer, R.L Stine, will be working for Marvel as a writer for a brand new Man-Thing comic series.  The new series will be taking inspiration from “The Tales from the Crypt” comic series that started its run from the 1950s.
