Temuera Morrison Cast as Boba Fett in Second Season of The Mandalorian

Taika Waititi to Direct & Co-write Theatrical Star Wars Film

The official Star Wars website has updated with an announcement that Taika Waititi will be directing and co-writing a theatrical Star Wars film. Additionally, Krysty Wilson-Cairns will be joining him on the project as a screenplay writer for the film as well. Variety has reported that a third season of The Mandalorian is currently in production. While the second season is set for an October 2020 release it is great to see that the series will be receiving a third season. Vanity Fair recently revealed a first look at Ming-Na Wen’s character in The Mandalorian. She will be portraying Fennec Shard, who is an assassin that crosses paths with The Mandalorian. According to Vanity Fair the character will be making her debut appearance midway into the first season. Vanity Fair also released a new trailer featuring a sneak peak of Fennec Shard.
