This September during Crunchyroll Expo 2018, the event will host the premiere screening for the upcoming Tiger & Bunny spin-off anime project, Double Decker! The series fully known as Double Decker! Doug & Kirill, it is set within the same universe as the 2011 superhero anime, Tiger & Bunny. Instead of focusing on a superhero duo, Double Decker! focuses on a detective duo. Global Road & Akiva Goldsman Join Live-Action Tiger & Bunny Hollywood Film Production Cast

Bandai Namco Pictures has announced that Lynn Harris (Global Road Entertainment’s President of Worldwide Production) and Akiva Goldsman (Weed Road Pictures) have joined the production team of the live-action adaptation of the Tiger & Bunny anime series.   Ellen Shanman will be working as the screenplay writer for the film while Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, Erica Huggins (Imagine Entertainment), and Masayuki Ozaki (Bandai Namco Pictures) will be serving as the producers on the project.   Viz Media provided a description for the manga series. Sunrise recently opened a new website, which reveals details about the upcoming project in the Tiger & Bunny franchise. The new series will be titled, “Double Decker! Doug & Kill,” which is set to premiere later this year. The official Tiger & Bunny twitter page has updated with an announcement that a new anime project is in the works. For those who are unaware, Tiger & Bunny is an anime franchise created in 2011 by Sunrise.  The series was directed by Keiichi Sato with the help of Kenji Hamada, Masayuki Ozaki, and Seiji Takeda as producers. Hollywood Tiger & Bunny Live-Action Writer Announced

The Hollywood Reporter has recently reported that the writer for the American live-action adaptation of the Japanese anime series, Tiger & Bunny, has been announced.  It has been confirmed that  Ellen Shanman will be writing for the project.  The movie is being produced by the joint team of Imagine Entertainment, All Nippon Entertainment Works (ANEW), and Bandai Namco Pictures.  The main producers are Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Sandy Climan, and Masayuki Ozaki.   The project will be overseen by the president of Imagine Entertainment, Erica Higgins.
