Funimation Entertainment Licenses Japanese Live-Action Death Note Films

Yesterday, Funimation Entertainment announced at Anime Weekend Atlanta that it licensed three of the four live-action Japanese Death Note films: Death Note, Death Note: The Last Name, and Death Note: Light Up the NEW World. Funimation will release the films on Blu-ray Disc, DVD, and Digital combo packs on January 22, 2019. The first two films which premiered in Japanese theaters in 2006 will be bundled together. SDCC 2017: Netflix San Diego Comic-Con Screening Announced

It has recently been revealed that the Netflix exclusive live-action Death Note film will be screened at San Diego Comic Con 2017.  The event will feature exclusive giveaways and pre-event Death Note themed activities. Adam Wingard, Nat Wolff, Margaret Qualley, Keith Stanfield, and Masi Oka will be attending the event.
