Last night, Mill Creek Entertainment officially announced their next Ultra Series release, Neo Ultra Q the complete series. Mill Creek Entertainment’s Second Wave of Ultra Releases: Ultraseven, Orb & Geed!

Today, Mill Creek Entertainment officially announced their second wave of the Ultra series Blu-Ray releases. This new wave will consist of the third series in the franchise, Ultraseven, as well as two series from the New Generations Heroes era: Ultraman Orb and Ultraman Geed. Mill Creek Entertainment Acquired the ULTRA Series Library for Physical & Digital North American Distribution

Today, Mill Creek Entertainment in cooperation with Indigo Entertainment announced they have acquired the license for Tsuburaya Productions’ Ultra series library for North American distribution. Indigo, on the behalf of Tsuburaya, developed this deal to assist in bringing back the Ultra series to North America. Tsuburaya Productions Introduces Award in Honor of Tetsuo Kinjo

Yesterday, Tsuburaya Productions announced and introduced a new award in honor of playwright/ screenwriter, Tetsuo Kinjo, with the motto of “Ultra wo Coero” (“To Go Beyond Ultra”). For those who may not know the man or company, Tetsuo Kinjo was primarily the spearhead in writing Ultra Q, Ultraman, and UltraSeven, the series which launched the franchise.
