Deadline has reported that Adam Wingard has been hired to direct a Thundercats film adaptation for Warner Bros. According to Deadline, the film was originally being developed by Rideback’s Dan Lin with the help of Vertigo’s Roy Lee. The new script for the film will be written by Wingard alongside Simon Barett. Variety has reported that Warner Bros. is currently working on a live-action film adaptation of Zatanna. Emerald Fenell has been hired to write the film with Warner Bro.’ DC Films and J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions producing. Zatanna was created by Gardner Fox and Murphy Anderson. The character made her debut in Hawkman #4, which was released in November, 1964.
