The official Code Geass website has updated with the announcement that Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion – The Imperial Path (Code Geass – Hangyaku no Lelouch – Ōdō), will premiere on May 26 in Japan. For those who are unaware, the film is the third and final part of the compilation trilogy based on Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 anime series. The films compile all 50 episodes for both series and featured new footage not present in the original releases.
The first film titled, “Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion – The Awakening Path (Code Geass – Hangyaku no Lelouch – Kōdō),” premiered in theaters on October 21, 2017. The second film titled, “Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion – The Rebellion Path (Code Geass – Hangyaku no Lelouch – Handō),” premiered in theaters over the weekend.
