Funimation has recently updated their Youtube channel with a new English subtitled preview trailer for the second season of Tokyo Ghoul:re. The second season of the series will premiere on the FunimationNow streaming service this Fall.
Funimation provided a description for the first season of the series.
A thrilling new chapter unfolds in Tokyo just two short years after the raid on Anteiku. Countering a resurgence of ghouls, the CCG selects young officer Haise Sasaki to lead an unruly team of humans infused with ghoul powers. Known as the Quinx Squad, they walk the line between humans and ghouls to rid the world of its most daunting threat. But no one said it would be easy. Let the hunt begin.
Both the dub and the English subtitled formats of the the first season of Tokyo: re premiered on FunimationNow earlier this April. The series is also available on Hulu.
The second season will premiere in Japan this October.
