Hobby Dengeki Web has recently revealed the next figure that will be released in Takara Tomy’s Transformers Masterpiece toyline. The next character that will be released in the Transformers Masterpiece toyline should be familiar to long time Transformers Beast Wars fans since it will be none other than MP-34S Shadow Panther. For those who are are unaware, Shadow Panther was a repaint of the original Deluxe Cheetor mold, which served as a homage to Ravage/ Battle Ravage. The character did in fact make an appearance in the Transformers Beast Wars animated series, however his model was based on the Transmetal repaint/retool of Transmetal Cheetor that was also released in Japan.
The figure will feature the battle mask gimmick that is present in the original toy releases of Cheetor, a communicator band that is a reference to an unused concept for Cheetor, and multiple replaceable face parts.
The figure is stated to be exclusive to the Takara Tomy Mall, however currently no other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates.
