Deadline has revealed that Warner Bros has announced that David Goyer and Justin Rhodes will be the main script writers for the Green Lanter Corps film. Goyer will also serve as the producer with the help of executive producers Geoff Johns and Jon Berg. The latest adaptation of the comic book heroes is stated to be described as Lethal Weapon in Space and will be focused as a origin story. The movie will feature Hal Jordan and John Stewart.
Currently no other details are confirmed at this time due to how early the project is in development. The film is currently set for a 2020 premiere.
