The official Godzilla anime series website has updated with new details for the series. The series will be directed by Kobun Shizuno & Hiroyuki Seshita and will be animated by Polygon Pictures. First, several cast members were revealed for the series.
The confirmed cast members include:
- Yuki Kaji
- Takahiro Sakurai
- Tomokazu Sugita
- Junichi Suwabe
- Kana Hanazawa
- Mamoru Miyano
Second new concept art for series was revealed that features a forest setting along with a suit of armor and a spider tank. The tank is labeled as Old Tanzawa while the forest is apparently based on the Tanzawa mountains located in the Kanagaw Prefecture. More information will be revealed during the special stage event that will star the cast on March 26 at 9:20 AM at the Anime Japan 2017 convention.
