Iko Uwais in Talks to Join ‘Snake Eyes’ Film Cast

The Hollywood Reporter has reported that Iko Uwais is in talks to the upcoming G.I. Joe spinoff film, “Snake Eyes.” If chosen, Iko is set to portray Hard Master, who is Snake Eye’s teacher. The character has appeared in various Gi-Joe media such as the original comic series and in several animated series based on the brand. Hard Master also appeared in the 2009 live-action adaptation for the franchise titled, Gi-Joe: Rise of Cobra, and was portrayed by Gerald Okamura. Funko has updated their official website with the reveal of the second wave of the Thundercats Savage World toyline. Marvel Entertainment recently revealed a new animated series is in the works based on Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur at D23 Expo 2019. D23 2019: Disney+ Star Wars Series Details Revealed

The official Star Wars website has updated with details about the upcoming productions that will be released on Disney+. Outside of the previously revealed trailer for The Mandalorian Lucasfilm revealed several new details about some of what there is to expect for the platform. The Hollywood Reporter has reported that Andrew Koji will be joining the cast of the upcoming Gi-Joe spinoff film based on the character “Snake Eyes” as Storm Shadow. For those who are not aware, Storm Shadow is Cobra Commander’s ninja bodyguard. Over the weekend, details for a brand new animated series based on He-Man and the Masters of the Universe was announced at Power-Con 2019.
