Variety has reported that Warner Bros. is currently working on a live-action film adaptation of Zatanna. Emerald Fenell has been hired to write the film with Warner Bro.’ DC Films and J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions producing. Zatanna was created by Gardner Fox and Murphy Anderson. The character made her debut in Hawkman #4, which was released in November, 1964.
