Los Ingobernables de Tokusatsu Ep 13 – Heroes & Concepts

Welcome to an all new episode of “Los Ingobernables de Tokusatsu!” We come to our unlucky thirteenth episode where we open on a lost, as Tatsuya Nomi (Daigo/Shishi Green) has passed away. Wheelz and Joker talk about the lost, and express their condolences. The gang also announces that next week will be a review on Daigo’s story-arc in remembrance of the actor. Following the depressing news the duo debut two new segments, LET’S MAKE A HERO, as well as CONCEPTS & CREATIONS!

Let’s Make A “Hero”, is a segment where the hosts have to make a character to exist in a pre-existing tokusatsu series. This character can be an all new character/hero, or a pre-existing one that can receive the ability to transform into this character. Another option is a character can be connected to pre-existing entity such as a mecha like King Brachion, Giga Rhinos, or Giga Phoenix.

Concepts & Creations, is segment where cast will discuss cancelled/unused toku films, series, and designs. Several of these will be actual documented projects. However, some will be fan theories that managed to receive acknowledgement from the community. Concepts & Creations segments will also feature guests, as such its debut features the return of Otaku Gangsta/ OGA!

Ikaricast Classic: Road to E3 2017 – Nintendo

Racing to the finish of our Road to E3 2017, we have our last contender, Nintendo! After two years of having some lackluster showings at E3 will Nintendo manage to put on a fantastic performance this year? We can only hope, as Nintendo will host an ARMS Tournament, and present behind-the-scenes sneak peeks at upcoming games.  Also, we wonder what is Retro Studios planning to contribute to the Switch, and will there be new Metroid games in the works? We have many other questions, but this is the year where Nintendo either goes big or goes home! Now, sit back and relax while listening to our Nintendo predictions . In addition, we are joined by our special guest, Hero Club’s Wheelchair21!

Los Ingobernables de Tokusatsu Ep 12 – Bugster Night

Welcome to a brand new episode of “Los Ingobernables de Tokusatsu!” Today’s episode entitled “Bugster Night”, is named off an Ex-Aid Event held in Japan. In addition, the episodes are recorded normally at night, as well as our discussion this week is about video games. The reason we chose video games was because of our friend’s the Geek Fighters who are currently discussing the upcoming E3. However, we then decided to focus solely on tokusatsu games, like which we played or what we would like to see for a toku based game.

Official Images: S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan God Goku

Last night, Premium Bandai updated its site with the listings for the May 19th pre-order items. Among the items listed is the previously teased S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan God Goku! Fans best know this form of Super Saiyan for its debut in the 2013 Dragon Ball Z film, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods. The form was achieved through a ridiculous process where Shenron was summoned, and a wish was made to inform the Z-Fighters of the necessary ritual to obtain the form. The ritual in question, required five Saiyans to merge their energy into one singular host, which was obviously Goku for his rematch with Beerus. The form reappears again, through the re-telling of the film in Dragon Ball Super, as well as become alternative form/ability for Goku in video games.  However, since its debut the form was replaced for Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, otherwise known as Super Saiyan Blue.

Now, back to the figure at hand! S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan God Goku is retool/remold of the basic Goku figures as of late. The figures paint apps are at best attempting to recreate the appearance from Battle of Gods. In addition, the figure itself will feature three optional facial expressions, and four pairs of alternative hands. Furthermore, the Tamashii Effect Energy Aura Yellow shown in the gallery is not included with this figure. One will have to purchase that Tamashii Effect separately, but not to worry it is basic retail product.

As stated before orders for S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan Goku will open tomorrow, May 19 at 16:00 JST. Orders for the item will then ship this October. Premium Bandai is selling the item for 5616 yen, with international buyers needing to go through other providers. However, for North America they will most likely be able to purchase this item through Bluefin Tamashii.

The Drop Episode 4: Why Freeza?!

On this week’s episode of The Drop, Fighter xaos goes into the news surrounding Square Enix their plans for their “Games As Service” letting go of Hitman developer IO Interactive and it’s shady future. Then xaos gets into his hype over Gundam Build Fighters and why he feels Freeza returning could have been handled better.

Now, here are the all links for people to follow me, and the other projects I am associated with:

Ikaricast Classic: Road to E3 2017 – Sony

Continuing where we left off, it is time for us to tackle Sony with our own predictions for them when they have their press conference on the Monday before the Electronic Entertainment Expo! For having so many surprises from last year, is Sony expected to have an extremely safe showing which they have not done for quite a long time? Will Shenmue III and Final Fantasy VII Remake be shown in some capacity and even be playable at the event? Does Sony have surprises up our sleeves that we are not sure about? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see, but be sure to listen to our predictions while RRPG is playing Nioh on screen! Enjoy and we’ll see you next week for Nintendo!

Los Ingobernables de Tokusatsu Ep 11 – Kamen Rider Thy Name is Metal Hero

Welcome to a brand new episode of “Los Ingobernables de Tokusatsu!” Today, is our eleventh episode and marks return of Alex (SentaiBandicoot), as a guest host. Now, before we go right into the news, and topic/discussion for the episode we address the recent death in the community. Yoshimitsu Banno, director/ writer for Godzilla vs. Hedorah, passed away this week! In response, Joker and Wheelz discuss the film, as well as how Banno was one of the most interesting people to ever work on the Godzilla saga.

Following the tribute to Banno the show resumes! With the only piece of goods news we had, more Gundam Build Fighters is on the way. That reveal eventually lead Projekt and Wheelz to discover the Gundam Religion. Then finally we come to what everyone was waiting for “Kamen Rider Thy Name is Metal Hero”! For this topic, we discuss the ways Kamen Rider has borrowed several elements from the defunct series, and how its helped/hurt Kamen Rider. We even go off on tangents on the need for more show diversity, and the ways series are written. Anyways, next week’s episode is up to debate, as to what we are discussing so tune in to find out!

Los Ingobernables de Tokusatsu Ep 10 – How to Get into Ultraman

Welcome to a brand new episode of “Los Ingobernables de Tokusatsu!” This weeks episode features the return of Projekt, and explains how Joker actually got on the show. Following the real origin for the Green Vape, we dive into the Televikun scans that we avoided last week. During our coverage of the scans, particularly the Ultraman Xead/Geed portion, we make an astonishing discovery on who really is Ultraman Zero’s mother! In addition, we discuss an interesting topic which is the title for this episode. Furthermore, our discussion on ‘How to Get into Ultraman’ diverges into why we think people do not watch it, and reasons that others use to explain their displeasure with the series. Somehow the discussion eventually devolves into the realization that Neon Genesis Evangelion is really an Ultra series in disguise. Finally, we apologize for not covering Tamashii Nations World Tour due to the fact, we already discussed the event on the actual site! … Next week’s episode will feature another interesting discussion titled, “Kamen Rider thy name is Metal Hero!” and possibly more topics depending on the news, as well as discussion duration!
