The Hollywood Reporter has reported that David Dastmalchian is joining the cast of The Suicide Squad as Polka-Dot Man. David has in been in several live-action adaptations of comic book movies such as Thomas Schiff in The Dark Knight and more recently as Kurt in both the MCU Ant-Man films.
In the comics, Abner Krill aka Polka-Dot Man made his debut appearance in Detective Comics #300, which released in 1962. Abner was a low tier crook who uses spots in both his costume and tools. The character was created by the joint team of Sheldon Moldoff and Charles Paris.
The Suicide Squad is set to premiere in theaters on August 6, 2021.
