Global Road & Akiva Goldsman Join Live-Action Tiger & Bunny Hollywood Film Production Cast

Bandai Namco Pictures has announced that Lynn Harris (Global Road Entertainment’s President of Worldwide Production) and Akiva Goldsman (Weed Road Pictures) have joined the production team of the live-action adaptation of the Tiger & Bunny anime series.

 

Ellen Shanman will be working as the screenplay writer for the film while Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, Erica Huggins (Imagine Entertainment), and Masayuki Ozaki (Bandai Namco Pictures) will be serving as the producers on the project.

 

Viz Media provided a description for the manga series.

Superpowered humans known as NEXT appeared in the world 45 years ago. Some of them fight crime in the city of Stern Bild while promoting their corporate sponsors on the hit show HERO TV. The people love their superheroes, even if they don’t completely understand them, and not all of the NEXT use their powers for good.
