Godzilla: The Showa-Era Films Blu-Ray Announced

Criterion has revealed that they will be releasing a blu-ray set of the entire Showa Era Godzilla films. The blu-ray set titled, Godzilla: The Showa-Era Films,” will include the various films that were released in Japan from 1954 to 1975. The blu-ray will feature the original Japanese audio with English subtitles for each film. Godzilla: The Showa-Era Films will be released on October 29 with a list price of $224.95. The set is currently available on Criterion’s official website priced at $179.96.

  • King Kong vs. Godzilla (1963)
  • Mothra vs. Godzilla (1964)
  • Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster (1964)
  • Invasion of Astro-Monster (1965)
  • Ebirah, Horror of the Deep (1966)
  • Son of Godzilla (1967)
  • Destroy All Monsters (1968)
  • All Monsters Attack (1969)
  • Godzilla vs. Hedorah (1971)
  • Godzilla vs. Gigan (1972)
  • Godzilla vs. Megalon (1973)
  • Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla (1974)
  • Terror of Mechagodzilla (1975)
