IGN has updated their official Youtube channel with the first trailer for the upcoming Hellboy reboot film. For those who are not aware, the film is based on the graphic novel series by Mike Mignola and released by Dark Horse Comics. The trailer features a look at several of the characters in the film such as Hellboy (David Harbour) and the film’s villain, Nimue (Milla Jovovich). The film originally served as a sequel to Hellboy II: The Golden Army, however it eventually turned into a reboot film during the production phase. The upcoming film is set to draw inspiration from Darkness Calls, The Wild Hunt, and The Storm and the Fury.
The Hellboy reboot film will premiere in theaters on April 12, 2019.
