Earlier this morning, Lucasfilm released a new trailer for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, which was first shown at Star Wars Celebration 2023. The latest trailer features new scenes for the film including an extended look at Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford)’s past and more. Keep in mind this trailer features the usual light spoilers so view this trailer at your own discretion. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will premiere in theaters on June 30.
Before going into my thoughts of the trailer, I personally felt that the editing of this trailer was much better than the teaser. While this can be considered normal for teaser trailers versus standard trailers I personally felt the teaser left far too much out to leave any major impact compared to this one. That being said I really like the setting of this film and it seems far more adventurous than the previous outing with Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull. The cinematography also seems to have going back to its’ roots which was missing in the previous film. I personally felt that film had too much focus on finding the mystery instead of the journey to it. In conclusion I am quite excited for this film and I will be waiting patiently to see Indiana Jones’ final adventure.
