Kamen Rider V3 Blu-Ray Release Announced

Toei Video has recently announced that they will be releasing the Kamen Rider V3 series on Blu-Ray.  For those who aren’t aware Kamen Rider V3 was the direct sequel to the original Kamen Rider series.  The series ran from  February 1973 – February 1974.  Kamen Rider V3 ran for 52 episodes and also had two films.  Kamen Rider V3 was also the only officially licensed Kamen Rider series in North America, which was released by JN Productions’ Generation Kikaida in 2001.  Those who are interested in the official DVD copy of the series can order via the Generation Kikaida official website.

The series will be split into three box sets and will be priced at 23,760 Yen each.  Each box set will include a 16 page booklet.

The contents of each set include:

  • Box 1 (Releasing April 11, 2018)– Episodes 01-18, Hiroshi Miyauchi interview (Kamen Rider V3/Shiro Kazami’s actor), New Program preview, and a storage box that will house all three sets. This box is included in the set’s initial production run. 

  • Box 2 (Releasing June 13, 2018) – Episodes 19-35, Tetsuya Nakayashiki interview (Kamen Rider V3’s suit actor), and the bonus features found in the show’s DVD release, namely: The Warrior of Power & Skill! V3, The Avenging Warrior Riderman!, V3 Memorial Interview, and Commercial Collection. 

  • Box 3 (Releasing August 8, 2018) – Episode 36-52, Hiroshi Miyauchi & Tetsuya Nakayashiki interview, Kamen Rider V3 Memorial, and Kamen Rider V3 the Movie trailer
