The original Hurricane Polymar series featured Takeshi Yoroi, a criminal investigator, who has a special suit to turn himself into Hurricane Polymar. With the power of the suit he is able to turn himself into any form and to morph into five different vehicles. The series debuted in Japan in October 1974 and ended on March 1975. The series ran for 26 episodes and it was later remade in 1996 and 1997 as a four part OVA series.
