Mark Hamill & Ron Perlman Join Transformers: Power of the Primes Animated Series

The Hollywood Reporter has recently reported that Mark Hamill and Ron Perlman have joined the team of the upcoming Transformers: Power of the Primes animated series.  Mark Hamill will be voicing the first Decepticon, Megatronus, who was exiled from Cybertron for killing one of the original Thirteen Primes.

 

Megatronus will be playing a key role in the finale of Machinama’s animated projects based on the Transformers franchise. Alongside Hamill, Ron Perlman will be voicing Optimus Primal and he will be joined by other actors including Mike Way, Jamie King, and Gregg Berger.  The series will also feature WWE’s Samoa Joe as the voice of the powerful Decepticon combiner, Predaking. 

 

The series will see the return of Wil Wheaton, Judd Nelson, and Kai Wahlgren with their respective roles. Transformers: Power of the Primes is currently set to premiere in the second quarter of this year.
