Masters of the Universe: Revelation Animated Series Announced

Over the weekend, details for a brand new animated series based on He-Man and the Masters of the Universe was announced at Power-Con 2019. The series will be titled, “Masters of the Universe: Revelation,” and will be released as a Netflix original series. Kevin Smith will be working as the main director on the project and will continue the events of the original 80s show. The series will be produced by Mattel Television with animation being helm by Powerhouse Animation. Eric Carrasco, Tim Sheridan, Diya Mishra, and Marc Bernadin will be working as writers on the project. No other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates.

Personally I think this is quite a surprise since it has been a very long time since the original series was on air. With the release of the new “Masters of the Universe Origins” toyline it was pretty much a no brainer that a series was being produced, however what is surprising is that the series will continue the events of the original series. Either way I am intrigued to see how this unfolds.
