Mobile Suit Gundam EXTREME VS MAXIBOOST ON Announced For Worldwide PS4 Release

The 2016 entry in the Gundam Extreme VS series, Mobile Suit Gundam EXTREME VS MAXIBOOST ON has been entertaining Japanese Gundam fans in arcades for some time now and frequent updates have expanded the game immensely. Now that the game’s run in Japanese arcades is coming to an end, Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced the standard home console release, but with a twist. For the first time in the Extreme VS Series, the Playstation 4 release of the game is not just releasing in Japan, but instead will be released World Wide in 2020.

A trailer announcing the game’s release was posted to several Bandai Namco YouTube accounts in different regions. We have embedded the North American version of the trailer. The trailer and video description lists the game as having 183 Playable Mobile Suits originating from 36 Gundam Works. The trailer also features the song “No Future” by SiM, which was the theme song for the arcade version of the game. With a roster this expansive, and a 2v2 battle system, Gundam fans around the world will be battling for dominance when the game launches this year. Stay tuned to Hero Club for future Mobile Suit Gundam EXTREME VS MAXIBOOST ON home release updates.
