The official Digimon Adventure Tri twitter page has updated with a teaser for what looks to be a new project on“Digimon Aventure.” The final Digimon Adventure Tri chapter titled, “Our Future,” recently premiered in Japan and was simulcast to Crunchyroll, so it is not too much of a surprise to see a new project being announced so soon.
For those who are unaware, the first Digimon Adventure anime series premiered in Japan on March 7, 1999 and concluded in March 26, 2000. The series received a sequel titled, “Digimon Adventure 02,” which took place three years after the original Japanese series, or four years later in the dub. Digimon Adventure 02 aired on August 19, 2000 and ended on May 19, 2001 in Japan. Both series received English Dubs by Saban Entertainment in March, 1999 and April, 2000 respectively. The series also features several theatrical films, which have also received English Dubs.

No other details are confirmed at this time, however stay tuned for more details.
Digimon Adventure Tri was in my opinion was kind of a rough project. However, it did seem to work out decently with the final chapter of the OVA series. Hopefully this new project will turn out good as well.
