New Disney+ Marvel Production Details Revealed

In addition to the previously announced Cassian Andor news, Disney revealed new details about their about their Marvel production during their recent investor press conference.

First, Disney officially confirmed that Tom Hiddleston will indeed be returning to reprise his role as Loki in his own show on the service.

Second, Disney confirmed that the series that will revolve around Wanda Maximoff/ Scarlet Witch and Vision will be titled, “Wandavision.” Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany will return to portray their characters.

Thirdly, it has been revealed that the series that follows Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson will be known as “Falcon and The Winter Solider.” They have also confirmed at that Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan will return to reprise their roles, respectively.

Lastly, more details about the “What if” animated show were revealed. The series will be known as Marvel’s What If…?,”which will take several characters within the Marvel Cinematic Universe into unknown boundries. Some of the crazy adventures the show will feature will include a story based on Peggie Carter becoming Captain America and Steve Rogers becoming Iron Man.

Disney also provided an official description for the service.

Launching on November 12, 2019, at $6.99 a month, Disney+ will be the ultimate streaming destination for movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic. From The Walt Disney Company’s Direct-to-Consumer and International segment, Disney+ will offer ad-free programming with a variety of original feature-length films, documentaries, live action and animated series and short-form content, along with unprecedented access to Disney’s incredible library of film and television entertainment. The service will also be the exclusive streaming home for films released by The Walt Disney Studios in 2019 and beyond, including “Captain Marvel,” “Avengers: Endgame,” “Toy Story 4,” “The Lion King,” “Aladdin,” and “Star Wars Episode IX.”

No other details are confirmed about these productions at this time so stay tuned for updates.
