Official Images: S.H.MonsterArts Gamera (1995)

Recently, Premium Bandai opened an order page for the next S.H.MonsterArts Gamera release, which is none other than the character’s 1995 incarnation. For those unaware, Gamera (1995) is the version of the character seen in the first film of the Heisei trilogy, Gamera: Guardian of the Universe. In the trilogy, Gamera would continue to grow more ferocious and fierce to combat his various new foes. Also, each of those other incarnations/ designs have been previously released as S.H.MonsterArts, thus leaving the first form to be the last.

 

Now, S.H.MonsterArts Gamera (1995) will feature interesting accessories, as the figure comes with parts to recreate Gamera’s variations for flight. The first option features basic flight parts which replace the legs, and has a corresponding display stage. Whereas, the second option allows fans to recreate Gamera’s iconic full rotation flight making him soar like a flying saucer; the full rotation effect parts will also have its own display stage. Pre-orders for S.H.MonsterArts Gamera (1995) open this Sunday, March 10 at 11:00 a.m. JST. Premium Bandai has the figure priced at 10,800 yen before shipping and handling is applied. In addition, orders for this product will be released in August. Furthermore, Bluefin Tamashii has yet to confirm if this product will be distributed to North America. If no future announcements are made international fans will need to contact a middleman service, or an online distributor.
