Premium Bandai recently revealed an all-new S.H.MonsterArts figure! This S.H.MonsterArts is based on Godzilla’s incarnation from the 1962 film, King Kong vs. Godzilla. The alliteration of this Godzilla is also referred to as KingGoji, as that is the name Toho provided for the design/ suit. Now, as a S.H.MonsterArts figure, Godzilla (1962) will feature its very cumber-sum design, dim-looking face, and three-toed feet. In addition, while the base body features a wide range of articulation the figure will come with a Tamashii Stage, and Effect Part to recreate Godzilla’s iconic blast. Below is the official gallery from Premium Bandai:
Pre-orders for S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla (1962) open this Friday, June 29th at 16:00 JST. The item will be sold 9936 yen with its set release for December 2018. Those interesting in purchasing this figure will need to contact a preferred middleman service, or an online store that provides Premium Bandai exclusives. Furthermore, one can only hope that Toho and Universal Studios can come to an agreement to allow Bandai to make and release S.H.MonsterArts King Kong (1962) in the near future.
