The official Star Wars website has updated with the official announcement that Pedro Pascal will be portraying the lead character in Jon Favreau’s “The Mandalorian.” Currently his character’s name is unknown, however it is nice to see who will be portraying the main lead.

- Omid Abtahi
- Nick Nolte
Jon Favreau had some thoughts about the confirmed cast so far.
“We’re having a great time working with this incredibly talented group and excited for everyone to see what we’re up to,” says Executive Producer Jon Favreau.
The Mandalorian will be apart of the Disney+ streaming service, however actual premiere details have not been confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates. The Disney+ streaming service will launch in the United States in Late 2019.
