Over the weekend, Toei revealed new information about the upcoming Rider Time: Kamen Rider Shinobi spin-off. As reported earlier, the special will feature the return of Rentaro Kagura/Kamen Rider Shinobi (Hideya Tawada). The special will be directed by Takayuki Shibasaki and written by Kaori Kaneko.
First new cast members were revealed.
The newly revealed cast members include:
- Takuma Zaiki: Isamichi Konjo/Kamen Rider Hattari
- Asuka Hanamura: Iroha Kagura – Rentaro’s Sister
- Isshu Kasumi: Master Kamano – Rentaro’s Master
- Masashi Ebara: Ninjnohebi
Next, some synopsis details were revealed.
The special will focus on Rentaro and set in the year 2022. His rival is Isamichi Konjio who is also known as Kamen Rider Hattari. Rentaro’s sister, Iroha Kagura, has a major crush on Kamen Rider Shinobi, although she is unaware about his true identity. Kamen Rider Shinobi’s main nemesis in the special is a dark ninja named Nijinohebi.

The special will premiere on the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club (TTFC) service in late March.
