1994 was an eventful year for Star Trek. The popular Star Trek: The Next Generation series was coming to a close, only to be instantly resurrected for a series of movies. The first movie, Star Trek: Generations released this year and featuring Original Series characters appearing alongside the Next Generation characters. In addition, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, now in its second season joins the toyline with its own subset of action figures, ships and more! There’s also a wild and crazy crossover line with another Playmates Toys staple, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!
