For those who have not been following the show, Star Trek: Prodigy is animated series based in the Star Trek universe. The first season of the series debuted on Paramount Plus on October 28. Additionally, it has also been confirmed that the series will be taking a mid season break starting on November 18 and the episode count of the second season has been increased from the intended 10 episodes to 20. Currently it is unknown when the second half of the first season will premiere, however expect more details to be confirmed sometime next year. No other details have been confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates.

After seeing the first couple of episodes I can easily say I am excited that the show will continue. It is also exciting to see that the first season of the season of the series has been extended. Seeing as the series has just aired there is not much more to say, however it will be great to see that the series is not going away anytime soon.
