The official Star Wars Youtube channel has updated with the season 2 trailer for Star Wars Resistance. The latest trailer features a look at the setting for the second season. Some highlights include the current status of the main characters on board the colossus as the First Order begins to hunt them down. Star Wars Resistance Season 2 will premiere on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW on Sunday, October 6 at 10 PM EDT/PDT.
The Emmy Award-nominated series Star Wars Resistance returns for its second and final season beginning Sunday, October 6 at 10:00 p.m. EDT/PDT on Disney Channel and in DisneyNOW, with subsequent airings on Disney XD. The concluding season takes place during the events of “The Last Jedi” leading up to “The Rise of Skywalker,” as Kaz and the team continue to fight against the threat of the First Order, culminating in an epic series finale.
While I can’t personally say the series was a masterpiece in any way, it is sad to see that the series will be ending with just two seasons. Seeing the trailer the series definitely looks like it picked up steam so it is depressing to see it end just when it seems to have gotten good. Hopefully the next full animated project based on the brand will turn out great and especially better promoted.
