The official Playstation blog has updated with an announcement that they will be releasing a new version of Street V Fighter. The latest version of the game is titled, “ Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition” and will be released for the Playstation 4 on January 16, 2018.
The game will feature all 28 characters included the newly added characters from both the Season 1 and Season 2 DLC. An extra character will be added to the roster at a later date. This version of the game will also feature a second V-Trigger added to each character.
One of the best additions in this version of the game is the longingly awaited Arcade Mode. As a a part of the 30th anniversary celebration for the franchise the game will also feature an Extra Battle Mode, more V-Trigger moves, Gallery, and an update to the UI design.
Players who already own Street Fighter V will be able to download as apart of a free future game update. New players will be able to purchase Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition for $39.99 once it releases next January.
