Premium Bandai has updated an official pre-order page for the Proplica Duel Disk. For those who are not aware, the Duel Disks were created by the Kaiba Corporation during the Battle City arc of the original Yu-Gi-Oh! series. While Kaiba used a prototype of the device during the Duelist Kingdom arc, the “perfected” version of the Duel Disk didn’t exist until the later season of the original series. The Movie: The Pyramid of Light will be released for a limited theatrical release by Fathom Events and 4K Media. Today Fathom Events revealed some new details about the screenings. Recently it has been revealed that Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie: The Pyramid of Light will be returning to theaters for a limited time on March 11 and March 12.  The film will feature the original English Dub and will be digitally remastered. This August a special exhibit will be opening up in Tokyo and Osaka to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of Kazuki Takahashi’s popular “Yu-Gi-Oh!” franchise. On September 30, 1996 the franchise released its first chapter in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, and at this exhibit it will be featuring the TV Anime series and its popular character Yugi Muto/Atem from the first series, as well as additions from its several sequels.
