The Hollywood Reporter has reported that Issa Rae has been cast in the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse sequel. According to the reports she is set to voice Jessica Drew, who is also known as Spider-Woman. In the comics, Jessica Drew made her debut appearance in Marvel Spotlight #32, which was released in February 1977. Throughout the course of the various comic incarnations, the character worked for Hydra, S.H.I.E.L.D. and also the Avengers.
