SDCC 2019: Marvel Legends Grandmaster & The Collector Set Exclusive Revealed

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed a first look at another Marvel Legends exclusive that Hasbro will be offering at San Diego Comic Con 2019. Alongside the previously announced Vintage Hulk figure, Hasbro will be releasing a two pack that features the Collector (Benicio Del Toro) and the Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum). While the Grandmaster will be released later this year in another two pack that includes Korg, the Collector will be receiving his first official 6 inch Marvel Legends release. McFarlane Toys Acquires “DC Multiverse Collector Figures” License For 2020

This past December 2018, we got word that Mattel would be losing the DC Comics license for the Boys Action category. Additional information, did confirm that Mattel would be retaining the Girls Toy and Preschool toy license, presumably to continue producing DC Super Hero Girls and Imaginext DC Super Friends respectively. Whereas, Spin Master signed a deal for the Boy Action category, but nothing was stated for the collector’s focused action figures. Mattel DC Multiverse SDCC 2018 Reveals [Updated]

[UPDATE 7/21/2018] Thanks to a new video by Dan Eardley aka Pixel Dan, who also moderated the DC Multiverse panel, we now have some clearer information for the upcoming waves of figures from Mattel.  Starting with the Aquaman movie wave, the Collect and Connect wave actually contains four figures instead of five. The four figures are: Aquaman Black Manta Mera Orm/Ocean Master The Vulko figure shown in the case is in fact an Amazon exclusive and the two figures shown at the panel are Aquaman (Combat Armor) and Orm (Combat Armor) which will be released as a two-pack exclusive to Target.  For the DC Multiverse Signature…
