Deathstroke’ Animated Series Announced for CW Seed

Deadline has reported that an animated series based on Deathstroke is currently in the works for CW Seed. The series was announced during a CW upfront presentation by CW Network president, Mark Pedowitz. In the comics Slade Joseph Wilson aka Deathstroke is a well known assassin. He first debuted in The New Teen Titans #2, which was released in December 1980. CW “Batwoman” Official Teaser Streamed

The CW has recently released a teaser trailer for the upcoming Batwoman series. For those who are not aware, Ruby Rose first portrayed Kate Kane aka Batwoman in the Elseworlds crossover. Earlier this January it was reported that the series received a pilot order. The trailer features a look at Batwoman, who seems to have an updated costume. Ernie Hudson to Guest Star on CW Arrow

Yesterday, Deadline reported that Ernie Hudson will be guest starring on Arrow as a “Four Star General of the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency).” According  to the character description provided by Deadline, he will be playing someone in Diggle’s past who will need to work with Team Arrow in hindsight of Diggle’s unresolved conflicts with him. He will be appearing in episode 719 (Season 7, Episode 19) of Arrow titled, “Spartan.” Fans of the original Ghostbusters films should recognize Ernie Hudson as he portrayed Winston Zeddemore in both the first and second films. Arrow Season 8 Confirmed As Final Season

Meagan Tandy, Camrus Johnson & Nicole Kang Join CW “Batwoman” Cast

Deadline has reported that Meagan Tandy, Camrus Johnson & Nicole Kang will be joining the cast of the CW’s Batwoman.  Meagan Tandy will be portraying Sophie Moore, who is a high-level private security agent in Gotham. In the comics Sophie Moore is a relatively a new character as she was introduced in Detective Comics #859, which was released in January, 2010. The character was created by Greg Rucka and J.H. Deadline has reported that the Batwoman CW live-action series has been given a pilot order by the network. The series, which will star Ruby Rose as Kate Kane aka Batwoman. For those who are not aware, Batwoman made her live-action debut in the recent Arrowverse crossover called Elseworlds. According to Deadline, David Nutter is being considered as the director of the pilot. Variety has reported that Jon Cryer has been cast as the role of Lex Luthor in CW’s Supergirl. For those who are not aware Lex Luthor was mentioned quite a bit on the show, however the character himself had not made an appearance up to this point.
