Today, Discotek Media announced via Facebook that they will be distributing four incredible titles in March. The first titles are the two Zatch Bell! films, and Tenjho Tenge the complete series on Blu-Ray. Whereas, the final title is Great Mazinger the complete series on DVDDis. Otakon 2017 – Discotek Media to Release Cyborg 009: The Cyborg Soldier

Over the weekend Otakon 2017 was held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. At the convention Discotek Media held a panel featuring several new releases.  Among the releases the company announced that they will be releasing Cyborg 009: The Cyber Soldier on Blu-ray and DVD. For those who are unaware Cyborg 009: The Cyborg Solider is an anime series that premiered in Japan in 2001 and also aired on Toonami in 2003.  The series was a retelling of the original 1964 Cyborg 009 manga series. Discotek Media To Release Fist of the North Star Complete Series

Discotek Media has updated their official Facebook page with an announcement that they will be releasing Fist of the North Star on SDBD.  The set will include all 152 episodes of the series and will feature English subtitles.  The set will also include the first 36 episodes of the English dub.   Fist of the North Star The TV Series will be released on October 31. Discotek Media Licenses Fighting Foodons Anime

Discotek Media has announced via their official Facebook page that they have licensed the Fighting Foodons anime series on April 25. Mazinger Z Film Planned for 45th Anniversary

Earlier today, Toei Animation that Go Nagai’s popular giant robot manga series, Mazinger Z, will be receiving a new movie adaptation. Now, the press release did not confirm if the film would be a live-action adaptation, or new animated feature. What was confirmed is that this new feature length film will commemorate the 45th anniversary of the series.
