Nintendo recently held their E3 2019 Nintendo Direct, which featured new details for some upcoming Nintendo Switch games. First, the Direct revealed the second DLC fighter in the Smash Bros Ultimate Fighters Pass. The second fighter will be the “Hero” from the Dragon Quest series. While they specifically showed Luminary from Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age, they also revealed that several other main protagonists will also be playable as alt skins. Over the weekend, Square Enix updated their official Youtube channel with a new trailer for Dragon Quest XI S. For those who are not aware, the game is the Nintendo Switch version of Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age (Dragon Quest XI: Sugisarishi Toki o Motomete).
