Today, Warner Bros. Pictures released an all-new trailer for Godzilla: King of Monsters entitled “Beautiful.” The trailer opens with three of the four titans: Rodan, King Ghidorah, and Mothra. Today at San Diego Comic Con, Legendary Pictures has “members” of Monsterverse’s Monarch interacting with con goers. From these interactions fans got to see first-hand a teaser image of Mothra. This teaser image features Mothra’s design in Godzilla: King of the Monster. However, the image is based on one of the tablets located in the film’s Temple of the Moth. Today, Legendary Pictures confirmed that writer, Michael Dougherty will now also be directing the sequel to Godzilla. Originally Michael Dougherty was hired alongside his “Krampus” co-writer Zach Shields to write future sequels in the Monster cinematic universe, dubbed the MonsterVerse.
