Review: HGUC Sinanju Stein (Narrative Ver.)

Welcome to Soundout12’s brand-new Model Kit Monday! The series is back from a long hiatus and this week we’ll be looking at the HGUC Sinanju Stein (Narrative Ver.). This kit was released in October 2018 for 2800 yen/ $32.99 and is based upon the Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative film. The Sinanju Stein was used by the primary antagonist of the movie, Zoltan Akkanen and the kit reuses most of its parts from the HGUC Sinanju. That being said, there’s a lot of great engineering involved with the building of the kit itself and this ends up being quite unique. Gundam The Origin – Eve of the Red Comet Premiere Date & Details Announced

Originally announced during the Mobile Suit Gundam’s 40th Anniversary Project launch event on November 21, 2018, the TV broadcast version of Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin finally has details on its premiere. The 6-part OVA will be recompiled into a 13 episode broadcast version for television. This is similar to Mobile Suit Gundam UC re:0096 which was a 22 episode recompilation of the 7-part OVA series.   The recompilation will be titled Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin – Eve of the Red Comet in order to differentiate the TV version from the OVA. Gundam Thunderbolt Gaiden Manga to Resume

It has recently been announced that Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt Gaiden manga will resume on February 8. The manga was delayed since last May due to manga creator, Yasuo Ohtagaki, suffering from tenosynovitis. For those who are not are aware, the manga is a collection of short stories featuring the various mobile suits that are showcased in the Thunderbolt Mechanics magazine. The manga launched on the eBigComic4 website in December 2015 and the second compiled manga was published by Shogakukan in April 2017. Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Anime Receives Spin-off Mobile Game

Sunrise and Bandai Namco Entertainment recently opened an official website for the upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans (Kidō Senshi Gundam: Tekketsu no Orphans) project, which was teased earlier last year. The website revealed that the new project will be a new smartphone app, which will be titled, “Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans: Urðr-Hunt (Kidō Senshi Gundam: Tekketsu no Orphans: Urðr-Hunt).”    The staff from the original anime series will be returning to work on this project. The spinoff is set in the year P.D. 323, which coincides with the timeline set in the original anime series.…
