The official Transformers twitter page has updated with the reveal of the title of the next live-action Transformers film titled, “Transformers Rise of the Beasts.” With this release it will mark the 7th live-action film for the franchise since the first Transformers film in 2007. The official Star Wars website has updated with an announcement that Taika Waititi will be directing and co-writing a theatrical Star Wars film. Earlier this year, it was reported that Paramount Pictures are producing two live-action projects based on the Transformers franchise. Alongside the announcement it was also reported that Joby Harold and James Vanderbilt were hired as the writers for the projects. Joby Harold to Write Obi-Wan Series

Variety has reported that Joby Harold has been hired to write the Disney+ Obi-Wan series. Earlier last year it was reported that Hossein Amini would be the head writer for the series, although he has since left the project. Outside of Amini, it was reported that Ewan McGregor, Kathleen Kennedy, Tracey Seaward, John Swartz and Jason McGatlin were announced as producers on the project.
